I'll read the book instead of watching the 5 season mediocre TV show
I find more and more books are being stretched into huge series rather than just a film. It felt like at least before I would be able to get the basic idea from a film adaptation but now I have to spend more time watching a worse version of the book? Nah I'll just read it instead, plus I can probably find it for $5 at a used book store too.
